Introduction of Italianieuropei Naplesa nd its study and research partnership with the Fondazione Mezzogiorno Europa

In a press conference the president of Italianieuropei, Massimo D'Alema, the President of Mezzogiorno Europa, Andrea Geremicca, the Director of Mezzogiorno Europa and of Italianieuropei Naples, Ivano Russo, have introduced the Fondazione Italianieuropei Naples and the study and research partnership between the two foundations.
About two hundred persons among politicians, institutional representatives both from academies and from the entrepreneurial world as well as civil representatives took part to the event.
In the press conference partook about thirty among the main national and local newspapers.
“The Foundation Italianieuropei” - Massimo D’Alema states - “has decided to open a new seat in Naples. After Milan we have chosen the capital of South Italy in order to increase of contents and spur our research activity and cultural initiatives. In Naples we mean to develop an important analysis pole within the human science range in order to enhance through both competent and professional initiatives a renewed season of “south-oriented” thought”.
According to the president of the Foundation Mezzogiorno Europa, Andrea Geremicca “the decision of “Italianieuropei” to open a seat in Naples represents an important demonstration of trust and acknowledgement towards Naples and the whole South Italy, its resources and the civil, social and cultural potentialities of this side of the country, which are facing such difficult problems. We are proud that for this deed the foundation decided to rely upon the special collaboration of the Foundation “Mezzogiorno Europa”.
